Dr. Krysten DeSouza is a tea lover, adventurous traveller, recreational athlete and Naturopathic Doctor born and raised in Oakville, Ontario. She received her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph before moving to Toronto to pursue her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. DeSouza focuses her practice in women’s health, including thyroid disorders, menstrual and pre-menstrual concerns, PCOS and menopause, mental health, including depression and anxiety, and musculoskeletal concerns ranging from fibromyalgia and muscle aches to joint pain and arthritis.
Dr. DeSouza’s primary goal is ensuring that every patient in her care reaches their full potential and lives their best quality of life. That means working from the ground up, correcting dietary and digestive deficiencies, building a foundational immune system, implementing exercise plans, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Dr. DeSouza has seen great results using Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, botanical herbs and teas, and vitamin and nutritional supplementation.
From the years of working with individuals of all ages and life stages, Dr. DeSouza feels especially privileged to be in a professional role where she learns so much from her patients.
